Popular Democracy is organizing against policies threatening Black, immigrant, LGBTQ, and working-class communities. We believe democracy only works when everyday people are empowered to shape it. Voting is how we impact the decisions that shape our lives – it’s a matter of survival. As we get closer to the November 2026 midterm elections, it is clear that there will be efforts from the Trump Administration to undermine and influence elections. As we face a critical turning point for the country, Popular Democracy in Action will bring the voices of those most directly likely to have their elections interfered with directly to the decision-makers shaping our futures. On National Voter Registration Day, Popular Democracy in Action and allies will engage lawmakers in Washington, D.C. to commit to free and fair elections and no election interfer
